Synthesized solid-state rigs, from the Icom IC-718 and Kenwood TS-2000 of 2000 to the IC-7300, IC-705 and FTDX-10. Most run on 13.8 volts DC and draw 20 to 23 amps on transmit, so you'll need a supply. Many add a tuner, a band scope or USB audio for digital modes. They're the easiest to buy used, but still ask for a wattmeter reading into a dummy load on several bands.
