Used receivers

Receive-only sets, which need no license to own or use. Most here are tube receivers from Drake, Heathkit and Hallicrafters. Drake's R-4C and R-4B, Heathkit's SB-301 and Hallicrafters' SX-101A and SX-117 cover the ham bands, while the SX-100, SX-99 and S-38E also tune broadcast and shortwave. Most plug into the wall. They're old, so ask whether the capacitors have been serviced. Some are heavy, too. The SX-101A weighs 70 pounds, so ask how it will be packed.
