Transmit-only sets, made to sit beside a matching receiver. Drake's T-4XC pairs with the R-4C and can transceive with it. Its finals are a pair of 6JB6 tubes, and it needs the separate AC-4 supply. Hallicrafters' HT-37 makes about 100 watts on AM, SSB and CW from 80 to 10 meters and has its supply inside. Either needs a receiver before you can make a contact. Ask for an output reading into a dummy load, and check the supply is in the listing.
